PNW Harvest — Ember Shade Candle

Fruity • Evergreen • Woodsy

Honor your roots. Gather the good. Welcome the changing season.

Step into a Pacific Northwest autumn, where mist settles between evergreen trees, mountain peaks rise beyond the forest, and a glowing lantern lights the way home.

PNW Harvest blends crisp apple and bright mandarin with fresh fir and aromatic juniper. Tart cranberry adds a rich, fruity contrast, while cedar and a touch of sugar create a warm, gently sweet foundation. Fresh, woodsy, and inviting, this fragrance captures orchard baskets, evergreen branches, and cool afternoons beneath a changing sky.

Poured in mossy green wax, PNW Harvest pairs mountain and woodland artwork with a personal ritual of gratitude, grounding, and recognizing what you have grown through.

The Ritual: Gather & Ground

Gratitude • Abundance • Grounding • Renewal

PNW Harvest is an invitation to pause and recognize the good you have gathered along the way. Some seasons bring visible accomplishments. Others ask you to put down roots, make difficult choices, or simply keep going. Each deserves a moment of acknowledgment.

For this ritual, let apple symbolize nourishment and the rewards of patient effort. Mandarin represents optimism and new possibilities, while fir and juniper bring to mind resilience through changing conditions. Cranberry symbolizes appreciation for life’s sweet and tart moments. Cedar represents strong roots, and sugar serves as a reminder to make room for everyday pleasures.

The mountain on the label represents perspective—the chance to step back and notice how far you have come. The lantern offers a reminder to carry that gratitude into whatever comes next.

Place your candle on a level, heat-resistant surface. Put away distractions, rest your feet on the floor, and take three slow breaths. Choose an intention—appreciating your progress, welcoming change, reconnecting with home, or making space for something you want to nurture.

Light the candle and say:

“With steady roots and open hands,
I honor what this season brings.
I gather gratitude for what has grown,
and make room for what comes next.
May I tend my life with care.”

Spend a few moments with your journal. Ask yourself: What has grown in my life this season? What am I proud of, even if no one else noticed? What would I like to nurture moving forward?

Choose one practical action. Thank someone who has supported you, prepare a comforting meal, make time outdoors, or take a small step toward a goal that matters to you.

Use this ritual during seasonal reflection, gratitude journaling, a quiet morning, or an evening spent settling back into your space. Extinguish your candle before leaving the room or becoming sleepy.

Approximate burn times depend on proper candle care. Keep your wood wick trimmed before every burn to encourage an even, consistent burn. Wick maintenance, burn length, drafts, and room conditions can affect how quickly your candle uses wax.

Wood Wick Care & Candle Safety

Before lighting, make sure the wax is cool and firm. Trim the wood wick to approximately ⅛–¼ inch, removing loose charred pieces and keeping the wax free of debris. For candles with multiple wicks, trim and light every wick.

Hold the lighter at the base of the wood wick until it catches. During the first burn, allow the melt pool to spread toward the edges, without exceeding four hours.

Burn for 2–4 hours at a time, on a level, heat-resistant surface away from drafts. Let the candle cool completely before trimming, moving, or relighting.

Stop using the candle when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.

Never leave a burning candle unattended or burn while sleeping. Keep away from children, pets, curtains, and anything flammable. Do not touch or move a hot vessel, add water or other materials to the wax, or use the lid to extinguish the flame. Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes unusually high or produces persistent smoke.

How to Use the Ritual Melt

Remove the cap and squeeze a small amount into a warmer dish designed for wax melts. Start small and stay within your warmer’s capacity. Replace the pouch cap after use and follow the warmer manufacturer’s instructions.

When finished, switch off and unplug an electric warmer. Allow the wax and dish to cool completely. Once cool, wipe the soft wax out with a paper towel and dispose of it in the trash.

Do not add water, light the wax directly, heat the pouch, or pour wax down a drain. Keep away from children and pets. Do not ingest or apply to skin. Never touch hot wax, move a hot warmer, or leave it unattended while operating.
