Available in our signature handmade cement vessels, each candle is poured in small batches and designed to create an immersive, cinematic experience. Light it when the walls feel too quiet, or when you simply want to channel your inner Jack Torrance — minus the axe.

🔮 Why Ember Shade?

At Ember Shade Candle, we don’t just make candles — we craft cinematic rituals. Every candle is hand-poured in Carbonado, Washington and housed in a handmade cement vessel, giving each piece its own unique character. Crafted with premium fragrance oils, natural wax, and wood wicks, our candles are designed to create an unforgettable atmosphere. Each scent tells a story. Each flame sets the scene.

Because our cement vessels are individually handcrafted, slight variations in color, texture, and finish are normal and part of what makes each Ember Shade creation truly one of a kind.

🔥 Wood Wick Care & Safety

• Trim wood wicks to approximately 1/8” before each burn by removing any loose charred wood.
• For best performance, burn for 3–4 hours at a time.
• After 3–4 hours, extinguish the flame, allow the wax to cool slightly, trim away any charred wood, and relight if desired.
• Burning longer than 4 hours at a time may cause the handmade cement vessel to become excessively hot and could increase the risk of cracking.
• Allow the melt pool to reach the vessel edges during the first burn to help prevent tunneling.
• Keep away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

🧪 Ritual Melts (Squeezable Wax Melts)

✨ How to Use

1. Gently knead the pouch for 10–15 seconds.
2. Squeeze a small amount into an approved electric wax warmer.
3. Add more as desired once fragrance begins to release.

🧼 Care & Storage

• Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
• Natural wax may become firmer in cooler temperatures.
• If wax feels stiff, gently knead the pouch before use.
• Continue enjoying until fragrance is no longer noticeable.

🌙 Fragrance Duration

Fragrance strength and longevity will vary depending on your wax warmer. Hotter warmers typically provide a stronger scent throw but may shorten fragrance life. Cooler warmers often provide a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
